Connie Scott (Oxford County Jail)

PARIS — A Norway woman is free on bail after being accused with driving into her boyfriend’s vehicles, slashing the tires and breaking the windows after he asked her to leave his property on Thomas Hill Road, police said.

Connie Scott, 53, was arrested June 20 on charges of Class C aggravated criminal mischief, misdemeanor domestic violence reckless conduct and violating conditions of release.

Norway Police Officer Stephen Cronce wrote in an affidavit that he responded to 84 Thomas Hill Road for a report of a woman smashing windows in vehicles. Scott’s boyfriend had asked her to leave the property multiple times but she refused.

“Scott drove her vehicle into (the boyfriend’s) two vehicles in the driveway and even pushed his pickup into the garage door, causing damage,” Cronce wrote. “It was reported that she also threw large rocks through the windows of the vehicles, stabbed some of the tires on his vehicles with a knife she found, and scraped the bodies of his vehicles with a metal rake.”

The boyfriend told Cronce that he was “scared for his life” and had to spray PB Blaster at her face at one point “when she was trying to tear her way through the screen door of the garage,” the affidavit said.

Scott was booked at the Oxford County Jail in Paris, where bail was set at $500 cash or a supervised release contract. She must not contact her boyfriend.

The criminal mischief charge is punishable by up to five years in prison, and the two misdemeanors are punishable by up to a year in prison.
