An eight-unit condominium building at 9 Cascade Road was heavily damaged in a fire in Old Orchard Beach on Saturday night.
No one was hurt but 16 people were displaced, Orchard Beach Fire Capt. Norman Gendron said.
“It was pretty much a total loss,” he said.
The fire started at about 9:30 p.m. on a deck at the two-story wooden structure.
The cause is still under investigation but is not suspicious, Gendron said.
