AUBURN — City Council meeting and workshop, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Auburn Hall. Workshop agenda includes a presentation of the final report of the Agriculture and Natural Resource Economy ad-hoc committee, which worked in tandem with an outside firm to study Auburn’s vast farmland and the businesses working there.

AUBURN — Age-friendly Committee, 5:30 p.m. at the Senior Community Center.
AUBURN — Conservation Commission, 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Auburn Hall.
LEWISTON — Bates Dance Festival screening of “Making Mill Town” at 6 p.m. in Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall, free and open to the public. Discussion following with filmmaker Lindsay LaPointe.
WEDNESDAY, July 18
AUBURN — Marc Black presents a concert and humorous history of ’50s and ’60s music, 4-6 p.m., Auburn Public Library. Black is a recent inductee into the New York Chapter of the Blues Hall of Fame.

LEWISTON — French Conversation Group, sponsored by the Lewiston Public Library and The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, 11 a.m., Lewiston Public Library. The main goal is to expand on or continue French language skills, for all levels, including beginners. All welcome.
