CASCO — Casco Village Church United Church of Christ will serve its annual Casco Days Supper with baked beans and homemade pie from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at 941 Meadow Road, Route 121.

Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children 8 and younger, and $21 maximum for families with young children. 

FARMINGTON — Henderson Memorial Baptist Church will hold the annual Picnic on the Lawn with hamburgers or hotdogs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

Cost is $8 for adults or $4 for children younger than 5. Everyone is welcome.

GRAY — First Congregational Church will serve a baked bean and casserole public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on Route 115. 

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for those younger than 12. The building in handicapped-accessible.

LISBON — The Methodist Women of Lisbon United Methodist Church will serve a public bean supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on School Street.

Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.

LIVERMORE FALLS — George Bunten Post 10, American Legion, will serve its monthly supper with baked beans and casseroles from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for students younger than 12, free for children 5 and younger along with on-duty police and EMS members.

NORWAY — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church and the Norway Grange will serve weekly free community breakfasts from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Norway Grange on Whitman Street.

All are welcome to a hot breakfast and fellowship.

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering a dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

The public is invited to attend lunches presented there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.

Cost is $3. 

NORWAY — Oxford Hills Area Association of Churches will serve the Norway Community Free Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Anyone can eat a nutritious lunch, no questions asked.

WATERFORD — The next Waterford Summer Breakfast will be from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Wilkins Community House at the foot of Plummer Hill Road, next to the Waterford Congregational Church.

The last breakfast of the season will be Wednesday, Aug. 15. The price is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 10, and free for children younger than 5.

The basement of the Wilkins House will be the site of indoor yard sales from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on breakfast dates. This is the last year for the yard sale.

Proceeds from the breakfasts help with the upkeep of the Wilkins Community House. Income from the yard sales goes to the maintenance funds for the Wilkins Community House and the Waterford Congregational Church.
