Maine-bred bluegrass band, Sandy River Ramblers will be performing at 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at the Sawyer Memorial. With titles like “Donn Fendler; Slow Down (You’ll Hit a Moose),” “Cliffs of Acadia,” “Boots From L. L. Bean” and “Trout On the Line,” listeners can expect to hear a lot about the history, flora and fauna, landscape and lore of Maine at a Ramblers concert, along with a few bluegrass standards and some versions of songs from the country, rock and blues genres.
