ERIE, Pa. (AP) — Willi Castro, Daz Cameron, Sergio Alcantara and Josh Lester recorded three hits each, as Erie beat the Portland Sea Dogs 18-1 on Wednesday.
Castro doubled twice and singled twice, scoring three runs. Cameron doubled three times and singled, scoring four runs while also driving in four.
Erie scored in six different innings in the victory, including the sixth, when it put up six runs, including a two-run double by Cameron.
Erie starter Beau Burrows (9-8) picked up the win after allowing just three hits over five scoreless innings. Opposing starter Kyle Hart (7-8) took the loss in the Eastern League game after giving up five runs and seven hits over five innings.
Erie hit a season-high eight doubles in its victory.
Michael Chavis doubled and singled twice for the Sea Dogs.
