LIVERMORE FALLS — The transfer station will be closed Thursday, Aug. 9, to repair the lot in front of the compactors, Town Manager Stephen Gould said Tuesday at a select board meeting.
The closure was originally announced for Saturday, Aug. 11. Gould said the cement would be poured Wednesday, setting the closure for Thursday.
In other business, Gould said the 4 p.m. dump closing time would be determined by the clock in the transfer building, not someone’s watch or outside clock. The gates will close at 4 p.m., he said.
