Storytelling Guild to swap stories
FARMINGTON — A storytelling swap will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, downstairs at St. Joseph Parish Hall, by the intersection of Middle and Quebec streets.
The event is free and open to the public. No storytelling experience will be necessary.

Skeet shooting at fish and game
WATERFORD — Recreational skeet shooting is held at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Waterford Fish & Game Association, Route 118.
The public is welcome and should bring a shotgun and ammo. The cost is $3 a round of 25 targets.

Church offers teen activities
FARMINGTON — New Hope Baptist Church will offer Cola Wars, for teens ages 12 to 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 16 to 18, at 268 Perham St.
The event will feature competitive games, skits, refreshments and Bible study. The youth will be divided into two teams, which will compete throughout the three evenings.

Vegan farm to table potluck
FARMINGTON — A vegan farm to table potluck will be served at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at 246 Holley Road.
Everyone is welcome. Those attending should bring a dish made from a personal garden, the farmer’s market or a local source.

Otisfield Community Contradance set
OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Community Contradance will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at the Otisfield Community Hall, 292 State Route 121, to dance to the music of The 75 Scotty’s and Friends.
A caller will walk people through each dance. No contradance experience will be required. This is a social dance where everyone may dance with everyone. Children will be welcome.
Admission is by donation, and refreshments will be available.

Family Drum Circle, campfire
INDUSTRY — Shorey Chapel will host a Family Drum Circle with campfire and free snacks at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at 1109 Industry Road.
Those attending should bring chairs and a rhythm instrument, such as old bucket.
