PORTLAND — James “Jim” Aaron Richards, 44, of Auburn died Monday, Aug. 6, in Portland surrounded by the people who loved him.

He was born Jan. 16, 1974, in Biddeford, the son of Kenneth and Gloria Mooners Richards. He was educated in local schools. He worked as a welder for Global Metal Fabrication. Jim enjoyed playing video games, welding and spending time with family.

He leaves behind his five children: Dylan Richards, Taylor Richards, Kiara Richards, Makayla Richards and Jedidiah Richards; and many brothers and sisters.

Jim was loved by many, especially his children. He touched the lives of many and always tried his hardest with the life he was given. He will be sorely missed by his family, his friends and so many others. May we meet again on the other side.
