Updated 7:02 p.m.: There is no launches tonight, and it doesn’t look like there will be any inflation. We’re calling it a night. Hopefully we will have a launch livestream at 6 a.m. Saturday. See you tomorrow.
Updated 6:18 p.m.: Balloon crews are at the park. It is up to each individual balloon pilot whether they will launch. We are livestreaming in case someone goes up. Stay tuned.

Updated 5:35 p.m.: There’s a pretty good wind at Simard-Payne Memorial Park – which isn’t good for hot air balloons. We will keep you posted.
We’re waiting for the balloons to launch Friday evening at the Great Falls Balloon Festival at Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston.
Entries had to be submitted by 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. The winner will be notified by 6:00 p.m. The winner will be responsible for picking up the tickets at the Great Falls Balloon Festival Information booth.
