
A pickup truck loaded with shingles burns beside Route 4 in Sandy River Plantation on Wednesday morning. Franklin County Deputy Brad Scovil said Stacey Tate was hauling a load of shingles to the Rangeley area for Prime Source Building Products in Kenduskeag when he saw smoke coming from vents, pulled over, got out and saw flames coming from the engine.
