FARMINGTON — A safe, cash and lottery tickets are among the items reported stolen during a break-in late Thursday or Friday morning from Mountain Valley Market on Route 142.
A safe was removed from the store and the cash drawer was open, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.
Also taken was about $700 in cash, a full pack of lottery tickets, chewing tobacco and a 12-pack of Bud Light was taken, Nichols said.
Deputy Andrew Morgan is the primary investigator. He was assisted by Deputy Derrick Doucette and his police dog, Judge, and Detective Stephen Charles.
The convenience store is near Mt. Abram High School.
