LEWISTON — The victim of a stabbing Wednesday on Knox Street was identified Thursday by police, who said he is expected to recover from his injury.
Hassan S. Mohamed, 35, of Lewiston was stabbed in the neck during a fight Wednesday afternoon near 73 Knox St.
Police later arrested Raynold L. Labree III, 34, of Lisbon and charged him with elevated aggravated assault.
Mohamed was treated at Central Maine Medical Center, where he was hospitalized overnight. He is expected to be released soon, police said.
