TURNER — On Monday, Aug. 27, Debbie B. Rowe, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away unexpectedly in her home at the age of 67.

Debbie is predeceased by her parents, Spencer and Winona Pearson. Debbie will be forever remembered by her wonderful children, Stephanie, Lisa and Ryan; her beautiful grandchildren, Amanda and Jordan; her precious great-grandchildren, Keegan and Carter; and of course her beloved dog, Bubba. Debbie will also be forever remembered by her dear friends within the “Bill W.” community.

A native of Maine, Debbie received her degree in nursing as a registered nurse at St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Lewiston during the late 1980s. Working as an oncology nurse, as well as a home health nurse including home health hospice care, Debbie provided safe and compassionate care to all her patients. Debbie’s heart was big, so much so that it spilled over into her love of animals, where she provided a home for stray and unwanted cats and dogs, even nursing them back to health if the need called for it. Debbie touched so many lives along the way, her big heart and caring spirit will be deeply missed.

A service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 40 Summer St., Auburn, with Pastor Hoy Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations/contributions to Debbie’s favorite animal shelter, H.A.R.T. of Maine, 302 Range Road, Cumberland, ME 04021.
