RANDOLPH CENTER, Vt. — Deliah Schreiber had a goal and an assist, and Central Maine Community College scored four second-half goals to defeat Vermont Tech 4-2 in women’s soccer action Saturday.

Samantha Belardo, Katelynn Greene and Rachel Dunn also scored for the Mustangs. Savannah Fisher assisted on Belardo’s goal. Schreiber and Fisher played at Lisbon High School, and Greene at Poland Regional High School.

Skyler Henry stopped six shots for CMCC (1-1).

The game was scoreless a half.

Dayna Goodell and Emily Grady scored for Vermont Tech (0-2).

RANDOLPH CENTER, Vt. — Brian Mendez broke a scoreless tie in the 51st minute as the Mustangs (2-0, 2-0 YSCC) held on to beat the Knights (0-3, 0-1) in men’s soccer action Saturday.

Seth Peaslee put the Mustangs ahead 2-0 with an unassisted goal in the 77th minute.

Hamilton 1, Bates 0

LEWISTON — Aidan Wood scored 12:30 into the game as the Continentals (2-0, 1-0 NESCAC) beat the Bobcats (1-1, 0-1) in a men’s soccer matchup Saturday.

Bates managed a single shot on net as both Robbie Montanaro and Hamilton keeper Linds Cadwell finished with one save.

UMaine-Farmington 3, Southern Maine 1

FARMINGTON — Yusuf Mohamed scored off an assist from Jake Heimlich five minutes into the match, and Sawyer Deroche scored unassisted during the 37th minute as the Beavers (1-2) beat the Huskies (1-2-1) in a men’s soccer matchup Saturday.

Benjamin Musese trimmed the Huskies’ deficit to 2-1 with an unassisted score in the 53rd minute, but Farmington countered when Derek McLaughlin completed Ethan Cooper’s assists 10 minutes later.

College field hockey

Hamilton 3, Bates 2

LEWISTON — The Continentals (2-0, 1-0 NESCAC) scored three unanswered goals in the final 19 minutes to rally past the Bobcats (0-1, 0-1) in a college field hockey matchup Saturday.

Grace Fitzgerald scored on a penalty corner seven minutes into the second half for Bates to break a scoreless tie and Victoria McGee increased the lead, putting her shot into the upper middle part of the goal off a pass from Julia Booth two minutes later.

Hamilton began its comeback with goals by Anna Villamil and Tatiana Bradley in the span of 4:18. Bradley scored the go-ahead goal with 7:12 left to play.
