Ongoing reports coming out of the White House indicate that President Donald Trump is completely off the rails. There can really be no doubt anymore.
I implore Sen. Susan Collins to stop rubber-stamping his attempt to undermine the nation’s democracy and reduce or obliterate protections for average Americans. Immediate case in point — Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
The confirmation process should be postponed until all information is available to the American public, not just regarding Kavanaugh, but the president himself. Collins should do whatever she could to protect the Mueller investigation. The nation needs to see the full extent of the accusations prior to any further actions by the Trump administration.
I am holding Sen. Collins personally accountable to do the right thing — vote “no” on Kavanaugh and vote “yes” to protect the Robert Mueller investigation.
