It is just wrong to purposely shame men accused of engaging prostitutes by printing their mug shots (Sept. 7 and 8). That’s a Class C offense at its worst, with a $1,000 fine. They were already shamed enough with the arrest and the aftermath in itself. Printing their mug shots was a self-appointed moralistic judgment of six people.

The impact on immediate family, friends and others must have been devastating.

Those are consenting adults; no minors involved.

It was a “spicy” story and I think that’s the real reason why it was published.

Does the Sun Journal publish head shots of all the Class C or equivalent arrests? Head shots of drug suppliers or those who kill people seem worthy, but not for engaging a prostitute.

Shame on the Sun Journal for putting those heads on the chopping block, along with their families and friends. That was a minor infraction of a law that was magnified.
