It is with great pleasure that I write this in support of Kristen Cloutier’s candidacy to represent the voters in House District 60.

I have known Cloutier both personally and professionally for almost 20 years. I first met her when she moved back to her home town from New York City. From the day she returned, she was determined to serve her community. Her work at Bates College’s Harward Center has focused on encouraging students to address issues in the community while also helping them to appreciate the great things this city has to offer young people.

She is a dynamic supporter of Lewiston’s arts, culture and local businesses. As a Lewiston City Councilor, she has been able to create consensus among different personalities and competing priorities.

Kristen Cloutier is just who is needed in Augusta and I encourage others to support her candidacy.
