In the photo at left, he uses only one strap. For older students who have heavier bags, using one strap contributes to bad posture and invites back, shoulder and neck health problems, said Dr. Linda Glass.
In the photo at right, he shows how to correctly wear a backpack. “That’s better,” said Dr. Linda Glass, adding his straps should be tightened slightly so the weight is higher between his shoulder blades.
