LEWISTON — Singer-songwriter Jim Gallant will perform from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Oasis of Music at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St. The show is free and open to the public.
As a member of the Seacoast Guitar Society, Gallant was a featured artist in its first fingerstyle compilation CD, “Seacoast Guitarist Vol. 1.”
Gallant’s versatility and skill as a performer has enabled him to share the stage with the likes of artists Doc Watson, Taj Mahal, Livingston Taylor, Jessie Colin Young, Dave Von Ronk, Mark Collie, The New Grass Revival, Denny Breau, The Shaw Brothers and Bill Staines.
