RUMFORD — The Sons of Italy with have a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12, 13 and 14, at their lodge on Route 108. There will be yard sale items and a bake sale, which includes quart jars of spaghetti sauce with four meatballs, pies and cookies.

WILTON — A book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Western Maine, 128 Weld St. Books for all ages and tastes plus music tapes and records, talking books, and videotapes. WEST PARIS — The Friends of the West Paris Library are sponsoring a fall festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 in the West Paris Historical Society building on Main Street across from the library. It will include their annual used book sale, including adult, young adult and children’s fiction, and non-fiction for all ages. From noon to 1 p.m., a bag of books is $1.

Crafts and baked goods will also be on sale and coffee, tea and cider, muffins or coffee cake will be available.

A raffle of 12 theme baskets are on display at the library, where tickets may now be purchased, and at the festival. Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5. The raffle drawing will be at 12:30 p.m. the day of the festival.

The money raised will benefit library programs, activities, social and educational opportunities for the community
