AUBURN — Our beautiful Angel, Elizabeth T. Eccles, 82, known to everyone as Betty, of Lisbon passed away peacefully on this quiet autumn morning Monday, Oct. 8, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice (Morgan) Hines and had been a resident of this community all her life.

She was educated in Lewiston schools and employed for 33 years at Pioneer Plastics, until her retirement in 1999.

She married the love of her life, Richard A. Eccles, on May 24, 1975.

One of her greatest pleasures was she enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved the ocean and never passed up an opportunity to have a delicious Maine lobster roll.
