AUBURN — Local and surrounding area artists are showing a colorful display of work in the Gritty’s Art and Ale Window.

The artists are some of the participants in the local monthly Indie Market and include Sheri Hollenbeck, Angie Lafrance of Ramble Row, Bonita K. Photography and Allison and Peru State of Midnight Prism Collective. The market, held in Dufrense Plaza on Lisbon Street in Lewiston on the third Sunday of the month, is another display of local art and live art making. This display of work will be up until the second week in October.

The Gritty’s Art and Ale Window is curated by the Union of Maine Visual Artists, L-A Chapter, a nonprofit creating public art and events who connect artists, art and community.
