“He who pays the piper, calls the tune.” According to opensecrets.org, Bruce Poliquin’s campaign has received a mere 1 percent of his campaign funds from individual contributions of less than $200. Jared Golden has received 26 percent of his funds from such contributions.
That confirms what we already know.
Golden risked his life for the people of his state and country by enlisting in the infantry. If elected, he will continue to work for people who can’t afford big political donations.
Bruce Poliquin, through his votes to repeal the ACA and give huge tax breaks to the wealthy, has shown he works more for his donors than his constituents, and they are looking to buy him another term.
I will vote for Jared Golden. I do not want to dance to the music of the super-rich.
