Adeline M. Devoe
1923 – 2018
SABATTUS – Adeline M. Devoe 95, passed away peacefully Saturday Oct. 13, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and favorite pets.
She was born in Canada, Sept. 28, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Marie Ann (Dube) Devoe.
Adeline worked over 40 years with the Bates Mill until her retirement. She was an active member of the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul Church until her battle with dementia four years ago.
Survivors include one nephew, William Devoe of South Carolina; two great-nephews, John P. Devoe and Gary Madore; two great-nieces, Bobbie-Jo Dudley and April Lee Wood; and also surviving are five great-grandnephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her four siblings, Marie Rose, Ludge, Raoul, and William; as well as a nephew, James Devoe; a niece, Yvonne M. Madore.
Funeral services honoring Adeline’s life will be held 1 p.m., Thursday Oct. 18, at the funeral home. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to visit beginning at 12 p.m., until the time of the service at PINETTE DILLINGHAM & LYNCH FUNERAL HOME, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
