Claudette M. Gagne

1950 – 2018

LEWISTON – Claudette M. Gagne, 67, of Lewiston passed away at D’Youville Pavilion on Monday, a year to the date and time of her beloved friend and house mate of 34 plus years, Lorraine Pepin. “NO MORE PAIN’. Claudette worked at local shoe factories most of her life. Known for her smart wit, crazy sense of humor, contageous laugh, sarcastic remarks and all around love of life and life of the party, Claudette made friends wherever she went and always made the best of any situation. Walking her little dog, Ginger, then Gabby at the park she always made it a point to say hi and strike up a conversation with other canine walkers and of course have a new lasting friend. Claudette leaves behind two sisters, Joline Tenyeck and companion Ed Boucher of Lewiston, Louise LeBrun and husband Denis of Green, nephew Allen Monteith and wife Erica of Rumford, RI, niece, Denise Queen and husband Kevin and their family of Boiling Springs, SC, nephew Marc Thibodeau, aunts, cousins and many, many, many friends. Claudette will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 21 at noon at the Spiritual Church of Eternal Life, 352 Crowley Road, Sabattus, the intersection of Crowley Road and Littlefield Road.
