Martha Holbrook restocks her pumpkin stand on Holbrook Road in Minot on Wednesday. Holbrook’s father-in-law, Erland “Sam” Holbrook, moved the Hersey Hill one-room schoolhouse to Holbrook Road in 1968 and sold vegetables inside the school. The family sells pumpkins there on the honor system. “The pumpkins are more of a hobby than anything else,” Holbrook said. (Daryn Slover/Sun Journal)
