BRUNSWICK — The Theater Project, 114 School St., continues its 47th season with William Shakespeare’s romantic caper “As You Like It,” directed by Al Miller. Audiences will enjoy this tale highlighting the many guises of love. Miller calls this production “one of Shakespeare’s cleverest comedies and one of my favorites.”
Miller and the cast have developed a fast-paced, inventive take on this beloved Shakespeare classic. For anyone who was bored or puzzled by the bard in high school English classes, this production will surely gain their appreciation for Shakespeare’s poetry and wit. “Our aim is to delight,” Miller says, “and this is a delightful cast!”
“As You Like It” will be onstage at The Theater Project from Nov. 2-11. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students and $10 for children 12 and younger (kids younger than 2 are free as long as they sit on a patron’s lap). Top level seating in the theater is always Pay-What-You-Want.
Tickets are available at theaterproject.com or by calling the box office at 207-729-8584.
