I am supporting Jared Golden for Congress in the 2nd District. Golden was raised in the district (Lewiston) and understands the needs of the area’s people. He understands the way of life and culture here.
As a U.S. Marine combat veteran, he understands the area’s veterans. He understands health problems as well as hard work to make ends meet.
After 9/11, he enlisted in the Marine Corps infantry and saw combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. In fact, he subsequently returned to Afghanistan as a teacher.
Golden will fight for Maine people. He will fight to protect Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid, access to health care, repair infrastructure and seek ways to support well-paying jobs.
I hope others will join me in voting for Jared Golden.
