Americans enjoy freedoms that many others risk their lives to attain, yet people cannot get off their butts to vote to preserve those freedoms.
The United States has a president who would like to manage/control those freedoms for his own narcissistic uses; and a governor who thinks the Maine state budget is his personal budget and refuses to release public funds for the public good.
It has become government by the minority. That is not democracy.
Shame on people if they lose their freedoms by default.
The current representative from my area supports the above-named individuals.
If people care, they should vote.
