A Marine Corps veteran and state legislator, Jared Golden has a record of bi-partisan work to pass legislation that will improve health care access, protect the middle class and assist veterans in obtaining jobs and medical care upon their return home.
He is opposed to tax cuts for the wealthy and the defunding of Social Security and Medicare, unlike the current Congressman. He does not support powerful corporate interests. Instead, he wants to develop federal policies that will benefit small businesses and working class people.
Golden is a straight shooter who will seek the best solutions to the problems that Maine faces. He treats citizens with respect and is smart, thoughtful and caring.
