Stephen E. Page Sr.

1942 – 2018

AUBURN – Stephen E. Page, Sr., 76 a resident of Auburn passed away peacefully Sunday October 28th at the Clover Health Care Facility following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston, September 29, 1942, the son of Vernon and Martha (Murphy) Page.

Steve served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict, and began serving as a police officer in New Jersey and then ended his police career with the Auburn Police department after 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post in New Auburn, and the International Order of Moose.

He loved traveling with his RV, wintering in Florida, and also motorcycling where he was a member and rode with the Blue Knights International. He also enjoyed the great outdoors where he loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Sharon Clark of Auburn, one daughter, Chandra Page of Florida, one brother, Danny Page of Harrison, and one sister, Judy Bulmer and husband Charles of Arizona, one sister in law, Faye Denis Page of Auburn. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Stephen E. Page, Jr. in 2017.

Memorial services honoring Stephen’s life will be held 11:00AM THURSDAY November 8th at the United Methodist Church 439 Park Ave., Auburn. Burial with military honors will be held 12:00PM FRIDAY November 9th at the Maine Veterans Cemetery Chapel Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta.
