Glenn E. Charest

1973 – 2018

LEWISTON – Glenn E. Charest, 45, of Lewiston passed away surrounded by family on Oct. 30, 2018 unexpectedly due to health complications.

He was born on May 1, 1973, in Lewiston to parents Connie and Robert Charest. Glenn was educated in the Lewiston school system, graduating from Lewiston High School, and continuing on to the University of Maine at Augusta, obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

He was an active member of the Fallen Saints Motorcycle Club, Fort Williams Chapter.

He enjoyed making memories with his family, whether it was camping, sporting events with the kids, hunting and fishing with his son, boating on Tacoma Lake, riding his motorcycle with his wife and friends, or walking Chevy with his daughter. He cherished time with his wife, and children with whom he shared and created many lifelong memories.

Glenn served our country in the US Army National Guard, C 133rd. Over the last 15 years he owned and operated Custom Design Flooring.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rita and Alpha Morin of Lewiston; mother, Connie Charest of Lewiston; and a brother Don Charest of Turner.

Surviving him are his loving wife, and lifelong childhood sweetheart, Jessie Charest; his beloved children Preston and Kinsley Charest all of Lewiston; his father Robert Charest of Lewiston; brother Gary and wife Diane of Greene; sister Tina and husband John Baril of Greene; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston on Monday November 5th, 2018 at 11am. A celebration of life will follow at the C&J Hall on Webster St. in Lewiston.  Donations may be made in Glenn’s memory to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, 55 Strawberry Ave. Lewiston, Maine 04240.
