AUBURN — Craft Brew Underground kicks off its Brews and Blues series at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, with Studebaker John on slide guitar and blues harmonica with accompaniment by his longtime drummer, Earl “King of the Money Beat” Howell.

The show at 34 Court St. has been enthusiastically received at Chicago clubs, such as the House of Blues and Buddy Guy’s Legends, and at festivals in both the United Stsates and Europe.

CBU’s foray into live entertainment is a logical next step for the club’s owner, Mike Williams. Since it opened its doors eight months ago, Craft Brew Underground has built a loyal following, attracted to the high-end draft and bottled beers and its popular mug club.

The cover charge is $8. For more information, visit CBU’s events page at Facebook, or call CBU at 207-241-8520 to reserve tickets.
