AUBURN – Stephen M. Bilodeau, 54, died on Nov. 5, 2018, with his loving wife by his side at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.

Stephen was born on Sept. 12, 1964, in Lewiston, to Normand and Constance (Lacombe) Bilodeau. He was raised in Auburn, Maine where he was a part of little league baseball as a pitcher while his father coached from the sidelines. He loved to ride dirt bikes and enjoyed anything that was fast and loud. He made lifelong friends that he was always there for no matter what.

He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1983. He moved to Massachusetts where he started his own family and electrical business. Stephen owned and operated Bilodeau Electric Inc. and after many years moved his business back to his home state of Maine.

While in Massachusetts he met the love of his life, Nanette, and they started their life together. He loved spending time with his family. He was a hard worker and took pride in being able to provide for his family. He built his business in Maine with his wife Nanette and his son Nate, passing on the family trade started by his father Normand.  He enjoyed spending time at their “land” where they were building their dream home and at the family cottage on Bear Pond. Many days were spent on the boats going fishing with the boys, knee boarding, and tubing as well as snowmobiling and four-wheeling at the land and exploring the amazing beauty around them.

Stephen will be greatly missed for his guidance, his wit and humor but mostly for his very big heart.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Nanette D. (Roberge) Bilodeau; his four children, Sean Bilodeau and wife Caroline of Portland, Nathan Bilodeau and his partner Courtney Sawyer and her daughter Emma of Lewiston, Adele Patsky and her partner Eben Thompson of Oxford, Mass.. and Bernard Patsky of Sutton, Mass.; his sister Stacey Labonte and spouse Steven; and his nieces and nephews Abigail, Jocelyn, and Nicholas Labonte. He is also survived by his cousin Linda Tripp her husband Peter, cousin Paul Bilodeau and his wife Patty, and his lifetime friend Robert Morin and his wife Mary. He is preceded by his grandparents Raymond and Berthe Bilodeau, Roland and Yvette Lacombe; and longtime friend Michael Campbell.
