1962 – 2018
WINDHAM – Richard L. Morin, 56, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 in Windham due to respiratory illness. He was born in Lewiston on June 9, 1962, son of the late Lucien and Elsie (Duchette) Morin. He grew up in the Greene area and attended local schools there. He was a graduate of Leavitt Area High School. Richard worked as a mason and was self-employed for over 20 years.
Richard will always be remembered for his love of music. His hobbies included playing guitar, art and reading. Richard was known for having a deep love for his family. He had a gift for always being able to make people laugh. He had an infectious personality and
witty sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by a daughter and sisters; Pauline Chasse of Lewiston, Yvette Roux and Mark Sirois of Florida, Claudette King and her husband, Sheldon, of Florida, Diane Grimmel and her husband, Mike, of Greene and Lorrie-Ann Dennis and her husband, Peter, of Greene. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jelaine; and his sister, Jeanne Teacutter.

Per his family’s request, services will be private and burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services, 70 Horton St. Lewiston.
