RANGELEY — Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s help to find Robert Wetherbee, 76, of Rangeley and Connecticut, who left Maine on Nov. 8 to go to North Windham, Connecticut, but has not arrived.
It is the second year in a row that a silver alert — a public notification about a missing person, especially senior citizens with dementia or other mental disabilities — has been issued for Wetherbee. He went missing on Nov. 9, 2017, when he left his summer home in Rangeley to drive to his home in North Windham, Connecticut. He was found about a week later sleeping in his truck in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Wetherbee is believed to be driving a blue 2012 Ford-150 pickup truck with the Maine registration plate 6924TD. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds and has blue eyes, according to the alert.
Anyone who sees him is asked to contact the Connecticut State Police Troop K at 860-465-5400.
