HALLOWELL — The Harlow, 100 Water St., will present “8x10x100,” a unique art show and fundraiser on view Dec. 1-29.
The Harlow is home of the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a nonprofit celebrating its 60th anniversary on Dec. 1. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and attend the opening reception for “8x10x100” from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. All artworks measure 8 by 10 inches and are available for sale for $100 each.
During this exhibit work by local artists representing a vibrant and diverse range of media can be purchased off the wall and taken home the same day. Fifty percent of sales benefit programming at The Harlow while the other half goes directly to the artist.
The Harlow is a membership-based 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to connecting and celebrating art, artists and community. Exhibitions are always free and open to the public. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. For more information visit harlowgallery.org or call 207-622-3813.
