LEWISTON — It’s traditional family entertainment with an exciting new twist. The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St., will present “A Christmas Carol” like it’s never been seen before on Dec. 14, 15 and 16.
Uncluttered by spectacle, six actors and a fiddler grab a handful of props and perform the Dickens out of this beloved holiday classic — in a way the audience has never imagined and will never forget. Rediscover the magic of theater with this classic story followed by a rousing holiday fiddle concert and sing-along.
Performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.
Cost is $20, adults; $17, group (10-plus); and $5, youth (18 and younger).
