AUBURN — Sarah Mitchell, a shareholder with Skelton Taintor & Abbott in Auburn, will be a featured speaker at the National Business Institute Divorce Law Boot Camp, to be held in Portland, Dec. 10.
The daylong event is designed for attorneys and may be used for continuing legal education credit. It will also be beneficial for paralegals and accountants working in the field of family law. Mitchell will lead two sessions — Experts in Divorce, and Valuing and Dividing Assets.
Mitchell’s practice at Skelton Taintor & Abbott concentrates on family law. She assists clients through divorce, separation, parental rights, child support, alimony, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, post-judgment matters, custody and visitation, grandparent rights, collaborative divorce and alternative dispute resolution. She is also the firm’s hiring partner and trial practice group leader.
She is a member of the Androscoggin County Bar Association, the women’s law section, and the Maine Bar Association, family law section.
