As I was watching “Face The Nation” recently, I realized what I am thankful for this year — I am grateful for Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Angus King, Janet Mills and Jared Golden. Why? For dedicating their lives to work for this country and helping to give the people, their constituents, what they need and are asking for.
They hear the people and find the political road to attain goals for the betterment of the public. It is not a direct route; it has many bumps and turns. But they persist, under difficult circumstances and repeated attacks, hopefully realizing a compromised message with which everyone can live.
I thank each and all of them for their devotion and hard work.
