Food pantry seeks donations
AUBURN — The High Street Congregational Church Food Pantry has ongoing needs for the following items: peanut butter, canned vegetables, soup, canned pasta, canned meats, canned fruit, dry cereal, baking items, soup, crackers and toilet paper.
Auburn United Methodist Church collects items for the pantry. Donations may be brought to 439 Park Ave.

LEWISTON — Cribbage results for the Lewiston Senior Cribbage League for the week of Nov. 29 are: First place, Terry Parent and Roger St. Pierre; second place, Larry Lefebvre and Gerry Roy; third place, George Bussiere and Dick Eccles; fourth place, Don Haley and Dwight Webb; and fifth place, Maurice Gagne and Bob Masse.
Pine Cone Chapter to hold meeting
AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
The chapter will honor the stations of associate matron and associate patron, with special honors to Arthur Dunlap, grand sentinel. There will be filled Christmas stockings for the PAL Center. The meeting will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6 p.m. All Eastern Star members are welcome.
