Library to hold first Family Read Night

NEW VINEYARD — The New Vineyard Public Library will hold its first Family Read Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20. The whole family is invited to attend and wear pajamas, and children can bring their stuffies with them.

The theme of this Read Night will be Christmas stories. There will be cookies and refreshments available.

Masonic Lodge to host annual Christmas event

BRYANT POND — Pilgrim Commandery 19 Knights Templar will hold its annual Christmas observance at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at the Harnden Masonic Lodge Hall on Bryant Road in East Wilton.

Baptist church to celebrate Christmas

WEST PARIS — The public is invited to a presentation of “EMANUEL, Celebrating Heaven’s Child” by the West Paris Baptist Church choir on Church Street at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.

Pastor Dan Mandigo is celebrating his second Christmas as pastor of the church and will be holding a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. All are welcome.

Parish to hold storytelling swap

FARMINGTON — A storytelling swap will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, downstairs at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, 130 Quebec St.

This event is free and open to the public. Tellers and listeners welcome. No storytelling experience necessary.
