FARMINGTON — Franklin County Animal Shelter is featuring James and Grace as its Pets of the Week.

James (pictured with kennel tech Dallas Curtis) is a senior male Staffordshire terrier mix. He’s a sweet older gentleman looking for someone to spend his days with. James would like to do a meet and greet with your dog to see if they’ll be friends, and he has lived with cats. Because of his age, he would like to find a home without the noise and commotion of younger children.
Grace is a 1- to 3-year-old female who is a little unsure of the other cats here at the shelter. She is a very sweet cat and would love to find a welcoming home to settle into.

James, Grace and other pets may be visited at the shelter from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays at 550 Industry Road. Cats and dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and have been vaccinated for rabies, treated for fleas, microchipped and have had nail trims. The shelter also finds homes for barn cats, livestock and other pets.
