The Shake Dancers will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight New Year’s Eve, followed by fireworks, at The Garage, Mountain Village Farm B&B, 164 Main St. in Kingfield. The band plays the raw Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans blues style of the post-World War II era, as well as their own original music. The trio has been well received at L/A Arts Concert Series and The Maine Balloon Festival, among other smaller venues around the state. Founding member of the Juke Joint Devils, vocalist and blues harpist Tommy O’Connell is joined by Zack Pomereau on vocals, guitar and harmonica, and Andy Buckland on upright bass.
