LEWISTON – Rhonasha Cynthia-Marie Anderson, 26, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly at Central Maine Medical Center, on Dec. 15, 2018, following a brief illness. Nasha was born in Boston, on Dec. 21, 1991, the daughter of Rohan N. Anderson and Marie L. Continat. She was educated in local schools and a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 2010. She attended Newbury and Mount Ida College, both located in Massachusetts. Known to friends and family as “Nasha,” she was employed as a hostess/waitress/bartender at Applebee’s Restaurant, in Auburn, for the past several years. Nasha was extremely special and adored by her family and friends, and anyone who got the chance of meeting her.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Continat, her father, Rohan Anderson, stepfather, William Beristoff; a son, Avari R. Anderson; four brothers, Roberto, Rohan, Rhovon, and Sharif, and her sister, Aaliyah; her nieces, Layla and Sariya; her aunt and godmother, Anaika Figaro, her uncle and godfather, Max Gratia; her godchildren, Jenayah and Jamar; her cousins, Shawnee, Shawn, Paschal, Deedee, Nathifa, Shamoune, Marquis,Tiana and many more, her younger cousins, Jaden, Jacoby, Deagen, Cohen, Layden, Abrielle and Wyatt.
Nasha was a free spirit and a free spirit cannot be caged. You have to let them fly.
