January meetings rescheduled
AUBURN — The January meetings for Auburn’s Age-Friendly Community Committee have been changed due to New Year’s Day falling on the first Tuesday.
The new meeting dates will be at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 22, at the Auburn Senior Community Center in Pettengill Park.
The regular meeting schedule will resume in February.
Lewiston Bridge Club to play
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club plays at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.

GREENWOOD — The Greenwood Farmers’ Market, a year-round market at the Town Hall on Route 26 in Locke Mills, begins its winter market schedule in January.
The hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Fridays. On Jan. 11 the market will be open as usual; the following Friday, Jan. 18, it will be closed, continuing with this every-other-Friday schedule until spring.
Shoppers at the market can find an array of locally grown and made goods, from salad greens, breads, meats, eggs, desserts to art.

Holiday closings in Jay
JAY — The Town Office will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday and Tuesday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day.
The Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 25, for Christmas and Tuesday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day.
Livermore selectpersons, rabies clinic
LIVERMORE — The Selectpersons approved closing the Town Office on Monday, Dec. 24.
The Selectpersons will not meet Dec. 24. They will next meet on Monday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m.
A rabies clinic will be held 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Town Office/Fire Station Complex, 10 Crash Road. The cost is $18 per pet. Proceeds will benefit the fire department.
