TURNER – During the early morning hours of Dec. 23, 2018, the illness and addiction that had stolen Annie’s brilliance stole her life as well.

Anne Kristen Perrino was was born on June 29, 1974, in Lewiston to Cheryl Wotherspoon Perrino and John Perrino. She lived in Germany until the age of two while her dad served in the army. After returning to the states and settling in Auburn, Anne attended schools there and graduated from ELHS in 1992.

Anne’s warm and gentle personality along with her willingness to help literally anybody who needed it endeared her to everyone she met, so it was no wonder that she spent the better part of her life serving the public. She worked as a bartender and as a waitress at several local establishments, most notably Margarita’s and Happy Days, but the majority of Anne’s career was spent at Marco’s Italian Restaurant in Lewiston.

Anne had a passionate enthusiasm for life and loved deeply. She loved the ocean, calling it her “happy place”. She loved animals of all shapes and sizes, but none more than her black lab Tucker, who was her constant and faithful companion for over 14 years. She loved books and was an avid reader. Her greatest love of all was her son. She was a dedicated and devoted mother who raised Aiden to be a kindhearted, independent and compassionate soul… the very same traits that Anne herself exhibited every single day of her life.

Anne will be sorely missed by so very many but will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her eight year old son Aiden, her mother Cheryl, her father John, and her brother Timothy Perrino, all of Auburn; and her grandfather John Wotherspoon of Minot.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 at Fortin/Auburn. A celebration of life will follow at 4 p.m.
