SALEM TOWNSHIP — Nate Luce scored a game-high 19 points as Mt. Abram prevailed 58-45 in a boys’ basketball contest against Richmond on Thursday.

Adam Luce had 14 points for Mt. Abram (1-6) and Hunter Warren contributed 10

Calob Densmore led the Bobcats (1-7) with 20 points, while Daniel Stewart had 10.

Monmouth Academy 63, Dirigo 52

MONMOUTH — Connor Davies had a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead Monmouth Academy to a 63-52 boys’ basketball victory over Dirigo on Thursday.

Dylan Lajoe and Brock Bates each had 10 points for the Mustangs (4-3).

Jeremy St. Germain had nine of his 21 points in the fourth quarter as Dirigo (2-5) tried to chip away at the deficit, which went as high as 22 points. Chandler Redmond added nine points for the Cougars.

Greely 73, Gray-New Gloucester 54

CUMBERLAND — Zach Brown tallied 13 of his 19 points during the third period, helping the Rangers (5-1) expand an eight-point halftime lead against Gray-NG (4-3) to 64-43 entering the fourth quarter in Cumberland.

Andrew Storey’s 16 points led Greely to a 37-29 edge at the break.

Storey finished with 25 points while Logan Bagshaw added 13.

John Martin had 19 points for the Patriots, and Hunter Colby 15.

Lisbon 96, Telstar 43

LISBON — DJ Douglass scored a game-high 24 points as Lisbon defeated Telstar 96-43 in a MVC boys’ basketball contest Thursday.

Devin Marquis had 13 points for the Greyhounds (4-3), while Ring Ring had 12 points and Corey Wiers had 10.

Davin Mason scored 23 points for the Rebels (0-8), and Colby Marriott added eight points.

Waynflete 66, Poland 47

PORTLAND — Diraige Dahia hit four of his five 3-pointers in the first half on his way to a game-high 15 points, and the Flyers (5-1) took a 41-19 halftime lead to beat the Knights (1-5) on Thursday.

Soloman Levy added 14 points, eight in the first half, and Dominick Campbell chipped in 12 for Waynflete.

Jay Hawkes scored 12 points to lead Poland.

Winthrop 93, Carrabec 25

WINTHROP — Two Ramblers scored more than 20 points and Winthrop led by 48 at halftime in an MVC boys’ basketball romp Thursday.

Cameron Hachey scored a game-high 26 points — including eight 3-pointers — while Cam Wood added 25 more for Winthrop (7-1).

Nikkolas Dube scored a team-high 15 points for Carrabec (0-7).

Girls’ basketball

Poland 45, Waynflete 38

POLAND — Sophie Vallee had 18 points as Poland defeated Waynflete 45-38 in girls’ basketball play Thursday evening.

Allison Ferland and Alyssa Gagne had nine points each for the Knights (2-5).

Sophi Aronson led the Flyers (0-6) with nine points, while Emi Boedeker had eight points.
