A snowstorm is expected to arrive in Maine early Tuesday morning.
Snow is expected to arrive between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Over the course of Tuesday afternoon the snow along the coast will gradually change over to rain showers. Snow totals for most areas will be around 3 to 5 inches.
The city of Lewiston has issued a parking ban starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday until Noon on Wednesday.
There will be another batch of accumulating snow early Wednesday before another change over to rain. There is a chance for additional 2 to 4 inches.
We will return to a brighter and quieter weather pattern Thursday.
